Yes i would have to agree. I think Persoon won by a round. Taylor showed the classier work but was swamped under continious pressure by an incredible work rate. Im glad Taylor is giving off all the signals that she would welcome a rematch. Totally felt for Persoon after the fight.

Agreed 100% - and not only do I think Katie owes Delfine a rematch and think it's classy that she appears to want to clear things up, it's also a fight that I actually want to watch... That **** was the equal of any male fight I've seen this year in terms of pure entertainment value, with 'em both laying it all on the line. And yeah, my heart goes out to Persoon too, that girl showed pure grit and deserved to be rewarded for it.

Not a great fight Chantelle in the real sense , more a great cat fight but full of determination, guts and both were champions , they took a chance and good champions take chances so a great hard fought brawl that has defineatly done female boxing the world of good, shame it was tarnished with the wrong verdict and I'm a Katie fan . I'm also a fan of delfines who holds down a fulll

i had it even after the fight. I'm not as impressed by Delfine as people are, she had little regard for defence and took too many shots. I know she kept coming forward and put the pressure on for the entire fight but the cleaner, slicker work came from Taylor. I couldn't call a clear winner but the fact it sounds like we'll get a rematch, I'm glad for that.

I had it even. To be honest I was more disappointed in Taylor's performance than impressed with Persoon's. KT allowed herself to be drawn into a slug-fest with a slugger who's actual boxing skills pale vastly in comparison to her own.
Overall, Matchroom had a bad weekend due mainly to their fighters trying to beat their opponents at their own game instead of focusing on their own advantages. Kelly stopped being elusive and went to an inside game against an inside fighter, while Taylor and Joshua both elected to brawl against brawlers. By the time it got around to Joshua, the luck had run out it seems.
Really, Hearn's only shining light from the weekend was Callum Smith as even the normally cool and collected Buatsi was smothering his own work.

I also am not as impressed with Persoon as others are. Except her conditioning. Sloppy otherwise. Katie is to blame for allowing that careless style to impress judges and viewers. Entertaining yes! If those belive there was a robbery imagine if the decision whent to Persoon. Now that would have really been wrong. There is an art to the sport.
