Andre Ward said he knew he could beat Joshua.

Andre Ward said that his plan before he decided on retirement was a tune-up fight, then a fight at Cruiserweight, then a Heavyweight title fight against Joshua. He said he knew he could beat Joshua.

Any chance Ward picks up a Cruiserweight belt now that Usyk has moved up to Heavyweight? Will Ward ever go to Heavyweight? Will he ever come out of retirement at all?

Ward always hints at a comeback. I don't know if he's just messing around or not, but it's getting to the point where a comeback needs to happen now or never.

Delusional tbh. If Boone and Kovalev put ward down imagine what a 250lbs man would do. He would end up like Stevenson imho

Lmao. You couldn’t even beat Kovalev at light HW and the fix help. What type of power would this clown carry to the heavyweight?

he won't be back. still has the idea in the back of his mind but less as time goes on, the AJ fight wouldve been the moment to do it if there was one

            No freaking way.
That is just too much mass.
            Kovalev's right put him down.
AJ's right would have knocked him out cold.

He has a bum knee and imo never was fully comfortable at 175. A lot of people were saying he bulked for the Kovalev rematch but I wasn’t sold, he looked the same to me. He’d be too small for cruiserweight let alone heavyweight and if he decides to comeback he’s essentially selling his 0 to the highest bidder.

Ward too little to Pull It Off IMO...

Buy Usyk can though! Right now Usyk should be extremely motivated to get back healthy and make his Heavyweight Debut. Wilder been out-boxed and AJ was out-boxed before he was eventually stopped. Usyk is much quicker than Fury and Andy Ruiz and if he carries just enough POP up to Heavyweight then he will indeed be a problem and these guy size differences really don't mean much because none of them really use their size well to begin with

I agree with WARD as far as AJ being "BUILT ALL WRONG" too much BULK and ZERO Flexibility, Poor Reflexes and Coordination especially Defensively

Even if AJ does beat Andy Ruiz in the rematch, his reign still won't last very long after that

Ward is full of himself, he would have been floored hard by someone like Joshua. Hell, If you can't outbox Kovalev for 12 rounds straight don't sit there and tell me that you will outbox someone much better, utterly ridiculous.

He was struggling to cut weight for 175, he would have never made 168 again he was struggling with being bigger than usual.
