Montreal attracts many top prospects from around the
globe. Canada actually has a long line of notable champions
going all the way back to Tommy Burns, who was among
the smallest champs in Heavyweight history, yet still
successfully defended the title 11 times. More than AJ.
Burns only lost his title to Jack Johnson, another all-time
great who was fearfully avoided by most other white
fighters.
As for Carl Froch being nothing but a "farmer" and a

Froch didn't even do anything during a middleweight era with limited talents apart from Ward and he'll always be remembered for getting beat up like a thief by Andre Ward. Joshua would not have won an Olympic gold if the games
had been held anywhere except London. Lewis stopped
Bowe en route to winning his gold medal in Korea.
