Comments Thread For: Hearn: Absolutely No Truth Joshua Was Badly Hurt in Sparring!

Eddie Hearn, promoter of Anthony Joshua, has shot down rumors that his boxer was battered and knocked out in sparring. Andy Ruiz dethroned Joshua with a stunning seventh-round stoppage at New York's Madison Square Garden on Saturday to become the first Mexican-American world heavyweight champion.

I call BS. Joshua did not look confident at all. I remember looking at him during the ring walk and thinking he looks afraid. Joshua needs to develop some grit, unfortunately he lives in a continent where there is none

Even if it is true? There is no point in making excuses, I feel like this is Joshua's principle.

Everyone knows that David Haye was semi injured before the first Tony Bellew fight, and a complete wreck for the rematch but still? There was no official excuse made. 'Joshua just need to relax for afew weeks, then get back into training'.

I want to know what happened behind the scenes. Joshua took forever to walk out of a closed dressing room door and showed weak emotion leaving that room.. he got into ring and looked lethargic af. This was not Joshua of the past. He looked drained weak and not focused. Makes me think the fix was in.

Herb Hearn is lying, I have learned to think the exact opposite of whatever he says. ..and Ajoke is still lying.

Whether it's true or not Hearn would NEVER come out and admit to this anyway. Since we can never get hearn to tell the truth on this or believe him if he is we will need some other source to come out and confirm or deny it. There are actual fighter names being leaked who dropped him. Let's see if anyone gets one of them to speak they obviously can clear this up.

Will DAZN have a behind the scenes episode like All Access Epilogue? That would be thrilling TV

Hearn is full of crap a total lieing snake, he would never admit that BJ was ktfo in sparring by joey dawejko, it's plain to see that the big stiff idiot carnt handle small chubby heavies, simple, manufactured bodybuilder made for dumb casuals to watch.

I wouldn't go so far as say a fix was in, but for sure, the fire we saw in Joshua back in the Klitschko days was doused, and we're all left guessing as to why.
