I mean what would be this card's competition for 3rd best? The rematch to me could do Canelo vs Jacobs numbers or possibly even better. But there has been no other card close to the Canelo and Joshua cards. 3rd best was expected, no surprise there.

The rematch will be the second highest viewed card on DAZN behind Canelo vs GGG.

Loses don't hurt your network as long as you put on good entertaining fights. Fans at their core root for the underdogs unless you have personal stake involved. NFL has so much parity and has never been more popular. Patriots are the closest they have to a single dominate team and they don't win every year and the entire country roots and tunes in hoping to see them lose.

Competitive, shocking, entertaining fights are what DAZN needs. And in 2019 they already have 4 of the top 5 upsets in boxing and the clear upset of the year.

        Ruiz vs Joshua
        Cancio vs Machado
        Cano vs Linares
        Can Xu vs Rojas

DAZN has only been around like 8 months and already they got fight of the year candidates, knock out of the year candidates and more upsets in 2019 then any other network. They have had a great last month really starting since end of April with the Estrada/SSR rematch card. You add the WBSS, Canelo and the Ruiz upset if you a fan you getting your money's worth and that's all you can ask for as a fan.

It depends when they do the rematch but no doubt it's proven US fight fans are used to watching fights late night in that 10pm - Midnight range. You want to maximize that rematch that's the time it has to air. Otherwise it gets lost in the shuffle early in the day.

The third best fight on dazn? That’s horrible because they’ve only had like 3-4 meaningful cards. What a pathetic thread, I’m guessing you just want to argue because this is a silly thread. We get it we know you’re a Dazn/TopRank fan. The last few weeks hasn’t been pleasant to you Dazn fans looks like PBC/Haymon owns the Heavyweight division now.

They can also do it in Mexico City @ the Azteca Stadium, in front of over 87,000 people on along with Alvarez during prime time & to get Andy Ruiz closer to being a superstar. Kill a bunch of birds with one stone.

Yea, barely anyone watched that fight, and it was free. To do less than that, not long after a big Canelo fight? That tells me that a lot of people un-subbed after Canelo/Jacobs. I can't imagine paying for DAZN and skipping the 2nd most important fight they've casted.
This is just not good news.

I found it pathetic myself. They’re hurting though. Between Wilder getting all the attention from his highlight KO, DAZN being in the news for a horrible app, and AJ and Hearn losing all the titles
to Andy Ruiz/ Haymon; The last few weeks have been rough for them.

That would be sweet, but if AJ's stamina was that bad at MSG, it would be 10x worse up at the Azteca

Even if you un-subbed after Canelo/Jacobs like I did, your log in still works for the 30 days you paid for so I got the AJ-Ruiz fight. Just not that many people watched it
