You guys can look up Socarras vs Rigondeaux sparring. They trained with the same trainer at one point and they have a recorded sparring session. Obviously Socarras was still young but the kid’s got it

Maybe he improved doe idk. I can't recall seeing him having fought before so maybe he just woke up on the wrong side of the bed that morning idk. But I know I'd bet against that guy 1,000 times & be right more than I'd be wrong.
Did you watched? The fight? By the way the fight is off. shakur didn't want to be tested for peds. He is off the rankings too.

          Yea I heard.

And nah I didn't see the fight, don't think it was even on TV, but drawing with a guy who's lost ~75% of his fights is a awful look for a prospect & says a lot fight seen or unseen.

Maybe it was the fight of that guys life & a bad night for Socarras...idk, but I'd bet against that being the case.

That fight in Mexico was a horrendous experience for Socarras, his father and handlers. It was in an small made up arena and everyone was drunk and yelling racist epithets at Hairon because he was black. He told his friends that he was in fear for his life. Then again he was partying the night before, as someone from Mexico stated. My guess is that those two thing did happened and he didn't prepare for the Mexican.
