Both have had points taken away multiiple times for exseesive holding. But by then the other guy is soo tired they don't even care.

Klitschko defeated Jennings by effective use of his jab and nullifying Jennings' offensive game on the inside, especially by holding Jennings, which resulted in the referee deducting a point in the 10th round for excessive holding.

    Tyson vs. Lewis
Round 1: As they subsequently traded body shots, Tyson ended the initial sequence by missing on a wild left hook. As the middle stages of the round came about, Lewis began to clinch and grab hold of Tyson as a strategy to fend off his repeated attempts to draw near for body attacks

Round 2: Both fighters began jabbing at one another, before Cotton warned Lewis twice for holding

Round 5: Cotton stopped the fight and talked to Lewis again in the fifth round about pushing. As the round went on, a visibly weakened Tyson

The ref;s let them hold way too much and usually they only got warning the first 5-6 round and then points taken off WAYYY too late.

I believe Ruiz would get sued and they'll probably get a judge to enforce Ruiz from fighting anyone else?? IDK why Ruiz wouldn't take the rematch? He'll probably triple/quadtriple what he made Saturday. The only problem Is with the IBF possibly stripping him of their belt???

all I can deduce from all this is that it was effective, they won their fights at the end which is what matters..I'm sure Joshua would have preferred to jab and grab his way to a boring decision than to get beat in that fashion...klitschko reigned for 10 years and Lennox is the last undisputed heavyweight champion, I'm not hearing too many fans crying about their tactics and style over the years (especially after Lennox and klitschko's last fights) except huhm...u

The report i read said he suffered more than one knockdown vs Sconiers.Ive not seen the fight, but if you have a source id have a look at it. Any google search has reports of the fight though. Were knockdowns not recorded against him?

Good stuff. Let me know when Deontay fights a young hungry fighter who has a decent punch. He can definitely be outboxed, but Ruiz is a fighter.

You need to have a look back abit. Ive never thought AJ was the top man, and have no problem with Ruiz getting a great win. But Deontay hasnt fought a young fast handed good puncher. He fought a good boxer coming from a very bad layoff and lost in most peoples eyes. He fought an old shot Ortiz who was actually suffering from an illness and struggled through. Hes fought no one who hits like Joshua. He might beat him, but he could get chinned himself. What good fighter did he stop in one or two rounds? Let me know when he fights a good young puncher.

Wilder would do to Ruiz what everyone thought Joshua would. Messy mid rounds tko. Ruiz is a one hit wonder . Wilder and Fury beat him easy. Joshua had a glass chin that's why Ruiz looks so spectacular
