Good because the Ndam fight was a joke, a giant elite super middleweight KOs a chinny, past his prime middleweight. He gets zero credit for that fight, hopefully his next outing is with a class opponent.

I thought Groves would beat him comfortably, but I’ve come round to Smith. Wouldn’t back him over Canelo or Benavidez, but would give him a 50/50 shot against Saunders and Ramirez... Either way, prefer those fights over Canelo!

I actually don't have much desire to see a Canelo fight. Smith has other names to fight and guys his size. BUT, if Canelo were to fight him, it has to make you wonder how someone like Canelo can jump around 160-168 so fluidly. Historically that is one of the hardest jumps in boxing (for as long as it's been around) and Saul keeps bouncing back and forth.

Smith is surely following in the same steps as Cleverly and acting just as egotistic. I recall Cleverly just won the WBO title and he started making demands to Hopkins. We all know what happened to Cleverly. This is not the only example Kahn, Price, Eubank. They all have such undeserved egos.
This is a problem of all fighters of all countries But Smith is almost the opposite to what you describe. Until he beat Groves, most U.K. fans thought he was behind Degale, Eubank and Groves. Even his brothers would never go overboard with the hype.

He’s scouse, he’s working class and down to earth. I was speaking more in general however

Well said. Smith has a weak resume. His best win is injured Groves. Won't be surprised if Smith loses to Benavidez or Saunders. I believe Canelo will fight him in september this year.

I just want to hear another sickening "CRUNCH" when he KOs someone again. His right hand is dynamite! That was the stuff of beauty – something to show any non-boxing fan.
