Exaxtly, i mean i just feel like there is an inquest going on right now, on why Joshus lost. I mean he lost because of Andy Ruiz...Plain and simple, and i think the same thing happens in a rematch.

in this case you're making an excuse for joshua by saying that he was knocked out in sparring. i'm calling that "*****," because it is. it's you making an excuse for why he lost, and refusing to acknowledge that he was an overrated fighter who got beaten by an overweight american on 4 weeks and change to prepare.
If you read the thread you’d see I alluded to the concussion being the cause of his strange behaviour in the corner during arounds and the aggressiveness of his Dad towards Hearn afternoon after the fight. People wanted to know why those things happened.

You probably just read the title and saw “AJ had a concussion before the fight” and flew in here thinking “Ahhhh these damn Brits mayne!!”

Like mate just take your time and read the post so you don’t embarrass yourself. I’ve had nothing but praise for Ruiz, he’s the story of 2019 no matter what else happens.

Different levels indeed and like I said I’m not discussing the concussion to make excuses for his beatdown. He’s not exactly durable so he concussion or not he’d probably have been KO’d with the amount of leather Ruiz put on him.

I don't buy this at all. The supposed best proof of this is some newspaper story in the UK where they were calling some scar looking thing on the side of Joshua's face a black f#cking eye from sparring.

And I also don't buy so many people knowingly put their golden goose into a bs fights no one really gave a f#ck about after he took brain trauma over money. You f#ck up more money by Joshua taking an L or getting severely hurt (since most serious injuries are back to back brain injuries) than you do canceling a already cursed NY debut fight vs a fat guy most didn't know til he ktfo of Joshua.

Too lil reward for too big of a risk.

If Joshua got dusted in sparring you say he tore a tendon or some bs & reschedule a fight 2 or 3 months later & its whatever.

Might be my pessimistic view of him getting in the way but I just think the guy is horrible trainer
Just listen to his advice in the corner between rounds , you’d swear it was him getting fughed up in that ring
I’m sorry just not my favourite trainer , very over hyped
AJ is an idiot for sticking with that man. He hasn't improved at all. Mayweather once told him to go to the Mayweather gym to tighten that defence. That was a code asking him to change trainers if he wanted to last long. In this sport you won't last getting punched in the head by heavyweights.

Still don't believe he had a concussion pre-fight. If he really did and they put him in any fight then his team all need to resign. Before anyone fires them, the dad having a go at Hearn just makes me believe maybe its all true.

What we saw in his demeanor before the fight was nerves. Everybody can't handle the pressure of being the franchise player. AJ never wanted to fight here. This was something he was forced to do by DAZN & Hearn.

As far as the fight this was the fastest guy he's ever fought. AJ has always had bad head movement. He was ok until the 3rd Rd. I didn't see any difference in the way he'd previously fought. Matter of fact he was doing better in this fight than he was in the Povetkin fight before he stopped him. He dropped Ruiz and got aggressive and got caught. He was never the same after that.

Because of this his Dad wanted the fight cancelled or postponed but Hearn wouldn’t allow it due to the publicity and potential financial losses. That’s possibly why his Dad was having a real go at Hearn after the fight.

This would also explain why AJ seemed lost in the corner from the first round and asking what to do and why he was feeling like that etc. He also looked kinda ****** up with bruises and swollen eyes.

If it’s true then it’s definitely a bad look for Hearn.

There’s no official reports of this yet but something definitely seemed off from the start and this would go some way towards explaining it.

This isn’t making excuses by the way, it really would be a sign of how they terribly underestimated Ruiz though.

promoters carry event cancellation insurance on large shows like this. Hearn doesnt strike me as a "small-ball" thinker. I doubt he would risk his franchise player if he wasnt 100%.........
