    McCracken is a terrible Coach

He coached Froch to be a stiff euro Homer Simpson who took every punch in the book from opponents then stop them when they are gassed from punching him.

Froch is pure natural talent. He has no skills.

Now we have Joshua who has no chin. It’s over.

All those training camps with Froch and Froch was still a punching bag.

That’s the thing. He didn’t give Froch any skils

I was thinking reality is he’s performed worse under McCracken since Sims, I expect Sims won’t want to upset the cart but AJ must realise who’s brought the best out of him.

I never rated McCracken when he had Froch, what Froch carved out he really got through grit and determination, Joshua has dug deep before but the technical side was not anywhere to be seen against Ruiz.

            Good point about Sims.

One thing i remember was when Floyd and AJ did that meet and greet thing together and Floyd said he was going to get AJ to the Mayweather gym to tighten up the defence. I never felt that was some random comment, i think it was basically saying that AJ is flawed and needs someone to fix things because he’s not improving.

Froch literally got by being a hard bastard, if anything his boxing was very awkward and not a reason to love him, but he was a warrior and had other reasons to. So yeah this McCracken guy is another blooody p e teacher rather than coach.

                correct.

and he never fixed Froch's defense. Froch is just genetically blessed with a sturdy chin.

how is he going to develop AJ's defense? he can't. he's a fraud. sounds dimwitted af too when he talks.

This is a very reasonable post. I don't see how any boxing fan could disagree. AJ needs to bring in someone who can teach him to jab and how to work off of it. Steward saved wlad's career doing this. AJ needs to employ one of his disciples to teach him same.

Joshua can spend 10 years under Mayweather and he wouldn't improve. he Mayweather defence/stance was ingrain in him from age 2/3 years old.

Joshua started boxing like at age 19 then he worked more on muscle build when he turned pro. He is just too stiff, his stance isn't right and at his age it would be difficult for Mayweather to do anything with him.
