People do know Ruiz has fought before, right? In fact, some of us have been watching him fight for years. The only way he punches as hard as Forman is if you're talking RIGHT NOW.
Foreman STILL hits harder then Ruiz.Ruiz is a better fighter then he looks but you got AJ fanboys making him to be next coming of Ali or Louis.

McCall and Rahman caught Lewis with shots he didn't see coming which does THE MOST DAMAGE

What the Great Manny Steward did so perfectly was make Lennox Lews and Wlad SLOW THINGS DOWN with their Jabs while also keeping Distance and making it more difficult to get to their Chins

AJ jab is WEAK and SLOOOOW also his reflexes are very poor defensively, he has ZERO Rhythm when he fights. AJ is completely BLIND to a good left hand shot...

A Good Left Hand Hook puts AJ down 9/10 Times! Look what Andy Hurt him with! I'm not a Trainer or nothing and I see this HUGE Flaw but McCracken doesn't?

Tua nearly lost to jeff wooden, went the distance with Rahman, Byrd and even Salif (who?)

Bruno was taking 8-10 rounds to KO journeymen & was knocked out multiple times.

Briggs was couldn't beat Botha just 1 year after losing to Lewis.

Ray Mercer & Byrd had some of the best chins from the 90s & Wlad ran right through them. Ray Mercer was old but not shot either.

Yeah Vitali was not a one punch KO guy, he was an accumulation guy, broke people down. Not so say he was a light hitter, but he threw arm stiff arm punches with good power for a non fully committed punch that conserved energy while leaving him in a better position to avoid counters.

Ross Puritty used to post on another forum a long time back and compared Vitali vs Wlad. Vitali he said there was no one punch that was super hard, it was just all of them were hard/stiff and it accumulated. He also commented on his iron jaw, saying he landed shots that dropped other fighters and Vitali just grunted and kept coming forward. He said Wlad hit harder single punches but he could tell when he was landing on Wlad that it was hurting him.

Vitali was one of my favorite fighters. Any fighter that plans for a full 12 rounds and plans to win by decision can be very hard to beat. That includes guys like Fury, Valuev, Floyd, Hopkins, Winky ect. They maintain their energy and plan to be ahead on the cards in the late rounds. If you are hoping for a KO and it doesnt happen you are looking at a loss versus them. Maybe the biggest difference with Vitali was his consistent power in both hands that allowed him to usually get a stoppage while ahead on points. Rafael Marquez was similar with thudding but not one punch KO power in both hands and every shot being thrown with consistent power.
