Joshua has been going backwards since Parker

After the klitschko fight I thought he learned a lesson that ypu can't stand there with no defence and just bludgeon guys out at the top level

Against Parker they started moving in the right direction albeit with work still to do

Then tonight he drops ruiz with a great combination and instead of just taking a step back and measuring ruiz for the finish he runs in like a buffoon and starts trading

    Wtf? Ring iq?

Yes.... watching Joshua trade on the inside against a 6"2 brawler is painful to any one who knows boxing.... he was losing every exchange, never learned, kept doing it.

I actually thought Joshua was improving and getting by on his size and power.... he has actually not got better at all.

I think this defeat will either make or break Joshua now.... hopefully it motivates him to improve the ring IQ and keep working.

His attitude changed with Parker. He was always so focused on being the best he could be, but he suddenly seemed bitter over opinions he didn't agree with. He was happy that he went 12 with Parker not because it taught him anything but because he could ram it down the throats of people who said he had no stamina. Then he got into that bizarre thing with Whyte where he got annoyed at the crowd, like he expected 70,000 drunken idiots not to be drunk and idiotic.

He feels that his achievements entitle him to unquestioning devotion. Life isn't like that and he's lost what enabled those achievements: willingness to learn and a huge work ethic.
