not to mention, if the ibf strips ruiz, which is likely, fury is fighting for that belt in the fall. and then him and wilder is a unification rematch. boom.

the real loser is anthony joshua. complete fail in his us debut. lost all leverage at the negotiating table.

btw, it seems there isnt an iron clad rematch clause. if there is one, u may see it in the US. again.
The real loser is Joshua definitely, that doesn’t mean others aren’t affected. Wilder/Ortiz is a good fight but not in the same breath as Joshua/Wilder, not especially if the money on offer for that fight. Even if Joshua rebuilds himself and win his belts back none of them are going to get the sort of money they were offered before.

Am pretty sure Joshua/Ruiz has a rematch. Hearn isn’t that dumb.

He only would have been paid that money if Joshua beat Ruiz. The 100 million was conditioned on Joshua winning and then DAZN convincing him to fight Wilder. So it really doesn't matter now if Wilder accepted or not since Joshua ended up losing anyway.

Think AJ was offering him $15m - $20m.

AJ was going to pocket $50m - 100m

Now AJ lost it has flipped the cash the other way.

How do you know the money ($120M for 4 fights) is guaranteed?

That's not how it works just because it can be worth up to 120M doesn’t mean it's a guarantee to be worth that much

                  Told by who ?

Chris Mannix reported only the $20M for Breazeale fight was guaranteed meaning DAZN can get out had Wilder lost to Breazeale so where are you getting that he would get the full 120M with or without AJ fight?

Doesn’t matter, don’t even want to talk about him. This is Ruiz’s time. He was the only one that actually pursue the fight, the only one who had the cojones. He did his talking in the ring and he is now the unified champ.

Problem with wilder is that he don't mind waiting he fought bums for 40 fights you'd think that was long enough.
How can you guarantee Josh won't lose. Did wilder not worry someone getting to josh first? Or did wilder rate Josh so highly that he didn't expect Josh to lose?
