Ruiz Was Outboxing Joshua. Anyone Else Saw This?

I thought Ruiz was soundly outboxing AJ. rd 1+2 were both Ruiz rounds in my opinion. He did the better counter and body work with some flashy combos.

Joshua's jab was completely ineffective, it was timed by Ruiz. He landed maybe a couple nice right hands but single punches can't win the round.

after rd 3. he just stiffened up like vs Wlad and became gunshy. It was a wash then.

Basically I didn't really give Joshua a single round.

Joshua would be ill advised to take the rematch imo. it was a blow out.

          I had it 58-54 (5-1) Ruiz.

No way. 1 round at most.

Ruiz was doing the more effective work by far.

              He was.

I’m glad Ruiz won how he did. There can be no excuses, no lucky punch or anything. It was a measured and intelligent performance from round one, despite getting dropped himself.

He was simply better in every aspect in there.

Had he done Joshua with a single punch, people would say it’s lucky and it’s HW boxing. But last night Ruiz actually just looked a level above Joshua, which i didn’t believe he was.

Ruiz was about to get robbed on the scorecards. No way can he win a decision in the UK

one of the reasons AJ jumped in and started trading was because he realize he wasn't outboxin Andy.

He was winning every moment of the fight aside from the 5 seconds he spent on his backside imo. Brilliant gameplan.
