      His parents were NATURAL BORN MEXICANS.
      They were born in Mexico.

      That makes him eligible for Mexican citizenship.

      And as mentioned, he already applied and was granted Mexican citizenship.

      In the US, if you were born here, you are a US citizen, no matter what.
      And you do not lose it when you apply for a dual citizenship somewhere else. So long as that country is not on the black list.
