Haha... I have a strong feeling he would feel pretty damn insulted if you told him that.... I'm a light completed Mexican and not one's do I claim to be Spaniard.... for one a Mexican is the mix of Spaniard and Indian depending on what part of Mexico one is from. Second, you are born in Mexico or your parents are Mexican you're automatically and legally Mexican. Third, he claims Mexican and comes out with traditional Mexican music, wearing proudly the Mexican colors and flag ... and honors ty he Mexican national anthem... speaks Mexican Spanish... has the heart and will of a Mexican...hell one can obviously see he over indulges in Mexican cuisine... but I get it... and believe me... I'm used to it myself in my Mexican American life... the hate comes from all directions... but it's always a great pleasure to come out on top even when everything and everyone is against you.... VIVA MEXICO!!!

I'm not against Mexicans. But it's true, Ruiz is American born and raised. It doesn't matter what you claim yourself as. I'm British but I wouldn't be French if I started claiming myself as such.

Doesn't matter where his parents are born. As long as Andy is born and raised in the US, he's American. And as I say, if we go down the ethnicity line, he's Spanish.

Anyway, as a Brit I congratulate Andy on his win. He took the fight unlike the others and came to fight. That's what boxing is all about.

From memory I had given Joshua the first two rounds , Ruiz 10-8 round 3, Ruiz round 4 and Joshua round 5.

So at that point I had it level, I didn’t score round 6 onwards so would have to rewatch it to look however I couldn’t argue with judges having it level or one point either way really; wouldn’t have expected it to be wide
