Last night I thought we had a complacent boxer who didn’t train, but rewatching the fight I think It was probably that punch to the top/side of the head as he was going down the first time. Every jab after that completely buckled him.

I wonder if he has a concussion or something.

I personally think Joshua suffered the Trinidad effect. When people fought Trinidad they saw a skinny, not buffed, very common looking guy but as soon Trinidad layed leather, people went into shock because they couldn't believe the power.
I think the same is true in this case. Joshua was shocked by the "fat boy's, out of shape" power. It's a psychological effect that is much harder to recover from.

when I watched the second time I noticed how easily Andy was smacking away Josh's jabs and especially the body shots. Andy did his homework. Other than the KD, he looked ready for everything that happened.

Oh yeah I noticed that immediately last night. I was like “Man this guy has speed and skills. He should move down to 200 or 175 after Joshua knocks him out”

The guy is simply an idiot. His lack of durability will get the headlines but that only came into play thanks to his poor decision making

Joshua's trainer between every round - Jab him, stay on the outside! Box him! Box him! For christ sake, BOX HIM!!

Joshua - Gonna lunge in face first and throw wild shots.

Fans - Joshua needs a new trainer

I think he accepted this Ruiz loss as inevitable after several of the KD's, which to me was the absolutely wrong way to look at it. He could've still won this fight on an uneventful UD, if he knew how to use his Jab and control the ring.

This is even more bizarre because he ate some big shots from both Wladimir, Whyte, and Povetkin and was able not to only recover but be hungry and smart enough to come back.

well said he knew he was beatable and never bought into the aura matchroom fans believed about him as for the last part guess sometimes fighters fight their kryptonite when they least expect it

it reminds me of the ring magazine articles 'best i have faced' a lot of fighters will name people you havent heard of giving them the most trouble **** like "big billy jones wouldn't move no matter what i hit him with that was a tough fight" thats why you gotta love this sport at times

You are correct. My bad. Naz had no business being on there.
