    Request From Juicy Juice

    Eubanks book::

    TALKING ABOUT BENN REMATCH

    The global interest was staggering. I found out later that the fight was screened in 60 countries and watched by over 1 billion; a combined audience of over 30 million people saw the fight in the UK alone, immediately after the ITV News At Ten. Simply put, it was one of the biggest fights of all time.

    TALKING ABOUT BARRY HEARN

    From 1990 to 1995, Barry Hearn was a huge promoter, the No. 1 outside of America. Why? Because he promoted Chris Eubank. You are only as good as the fighter you have. Don King was only as good as he was because he had Ali, Holyfield, Tyson, boxers like that. If you own the heavyweight champion of the world, then you will be the best promoter in the world, everyone will have to come to you. I was to become the biggest name in world boxing, other than heavyweights, and Barry Hearn became the kingpin.

    Quote from Barry Hearn printed at a later paragraph, said after Eubank and Hearn had split up>
    `Eubank certainly changed the whole face of boxing as we know it. I dont think there is anyone straighter - you may not have agreed with him, but he was his own man throughout and the respect I have for him has never diminished to this day. I enjoyed my time with him and wouldnt swap a moment.`

    there's a reason why chris didn't fight roy jones, james toney or michael nunn, it's because he would of lost.

      This is getting beyond a ****ing joke.

      The concept that JuyJuy DOESN'T have Eubank's book is bizarre... though not as bizarre as posting up extracts under an alt account.

        Well theres a good chance he would have lost, but i think he had the style to have given them trouble, it certainly would have been a big step up to the fighters he was facing though.

          eubank had no fitness, you have to question the way he trained. for the first 90 seconds of a round he'd land his rangey punches to body and head at will and leap out of range without getting hit so comfortably, but then he'd switch off and start making mistakes. after seven, eight rounds he would even be getting clumsy from the start of rounds and would often actually physically turn his back and run away towards the end of bouts. a lot of the decisions he got he didn't deserve, he just could not maintain anything. a guy like james toney would punish him for every mistake he made, while roy jones and michael nunn were the guys who would actually make him miss his leads and not allow him to dominate early which, lets be honest, if it wasn't for his early domination in fights he would of lost most of them. people can say he mastered the art of doing only just enough to keep his title, but was that really the case? i think a lack of fitness and inability to maintain anything is more accurate.

            Is Juicy Juice speaking to himself again?

            You really should be institutionalized.
