They were both in the tournament scheduled to fight eachother. Braehmer wasn't in a condition to fight, alright that can happen...
The fight didn't happen, Smith went on to win the tournament. Braehmer has been largely inactive since participating.
However there is no excuse why these 2 haven't fought eachother after the WBSS. Let's not act like Braehmer isn't a worthy challenger.
He schooled Rob Brant who went on to become a top 10 Middleweight and school Murata. The same Murata who stopped N'Dam. And somehow Callum Smith is now fighting N'Dam. Why have we never called for the fight to happen after the tournament? It's certainly a better fight for Smith than N'Dam...
So I contacted Braehmer on Instagram and he told me that I should call Callum Smith and they have only received 'cancellations' so far. So it looks like Braehmer still wanted that fight but that the offers to fight got declined by team Smith.
Anyone got more info on this whole situation?
