Whyte has done a great job of defeating every other opponent thereafter! Whyte has all but sacrificed his shoulder to the greedy promoter god to get that elusive rematch. You know I don’t mind Joshua but I am starting to understand why Hearn speaks instead of him.....he can really stick his foot in his mouth since he and Hearn were offering Dillian Whyte a rematch. Also, I suspect of povetkin had been ahead on points going into the championship rounds in a thrilling fight in which both men were knocked down and or hurt badly and povetkin had one 2-3 fights straight since, it would be a viable rematch. Ultimately wilder and haymon have really upstaged Joshua and Hearn since the media seems more interested in this topic than Ruiz

AJ/Whyte was 3 1/2 years ago with Whyte proving to be a top contender since with a good win over Parker and a couple of decent wins over Chisora.

Wilder on the other hand just fought Ortiz before he did the Fury fight with Ortiz proving nothing since other than looking like shlt against no hopers and getting decidedly worse as a fighter.

its been almost 4 years and whyte has improved a lot, they fought at domestic level and now both are on world level, not the same as Ortiz at all who has done nothing since the Wilder fight but look worse.

The fight with Povektin wasn't competitive.
Wilder vs Ortiz was a fun, competitive fight & I would much rather see AJ vs Wilder but I'm pumped about the rematch.
I expect Wilder to come into this fight fully hydrated & stop Ortiz in the 2nd or 3rd round.
