Comments Thread For: Joshua's Trainer: The Wilder Fight Will Eventually Happen

Anthony Joshua's trainer insists the British heavyweight is eager to face "phenomenal puncher" Deontay Wilder and is certain the long-awaited fight will go ahead. Joshua makes his seventh world title defence and United States debut when he takes on Andy Ruiz Jr at Madison Square Garden in New York on Saturday.

And? Its nothing new we are British, it's what we do. Gives us more drinking time. Any wilders fans trying to poke fun at Joshua or his fans are just trying to get us off the subject of the sports biggest duck in deontay wilder.

Laugh at us staying up late to watch Joshua? Wilder was on free TV at peak time and nobody bothered watching. Nobody paid for tickets they had to pay a company to get people who don't even like boxing to fill some seats so it didn't seem as embarrassing as It really was. Although knowing they did that Is even more embarrassing than just letting it bomb.

And you are trying to mock Joshua and his fans? Lol you have no shame.

It's pretty clear to me that we won't see this until Wilder is well past his prime. Maybe another 3 years or so.

And after the fight the commentator will ask him "do you wish this happened sooner?"

          "It just wasn't to be".

History repeats itself so much in boxing. It's pathetic.

This fight isn't happening in 2019, no chance.

Hearn was telling IFL that they have mandatories due, so that means Pulev is next (the IBF actually enforce their mandatories).

I just can't wait for the people who dislike AJ (not just Wilder fans) who say AJ is ducking when he starts fighting his mandatories out of necessity.
