WBA super middleweight champion Callum Smith has one eye targeted on Mexican superstar Saul "Canelo" Alvarez. Smith will return to the ring on June 1, at Madison Square Garden in New York City. The unbeaten champion will defend his belt against former beltholder Hassan N'Dam, as part of the undercard to the heavyweight showdown between Anthony Joshua and Andy Ruiz.

Yeah how predictable, from a fighter who's not exciting to watch, fought no one of note, he should move up yo light heavy and stfu.

I thought the WBC had ordered Smith Vs Dirrell! If Canelo/Smith was to happen then you can bet your life that Alvarez wants it on a Mexican holiday with ultra strict re-hydration terms & his choice of venue & officials.

I have no interest in Callum fighting anybody let alone Canelo.

Wow, 168 is a trash division.

Callum is the best fighter in his division, imo. He's big, young, hungry, and packs genuine KO power in both fists.

Does that sound like the kind of guy Canelo would want to fight?

I can't see it happening, tbh.
