50 percent of what? its not a super fight. he was being overpaid already. hes not a ppv draw and neither is joshua so im not sure what you are talking about. its some serious fan fiction.as others noted...wilder chased the fight for months...only to be rebuffed
in about a years time he will go from big time b-side to a guy thats going to command 50 percent of it.....wilder is doing something right.....you can only take so much of hearns BS
hearn himself told him to "go build your profile"....so now wilder has told him he wont fight AJ this year and hes building his profile just like hearn said to....and now hearn is flapping his gums when wilder told him straight up he aint even thinking about him this year
its hilarious to watch people fall for eddies BS....hes only talking about it now because he knows wilder wont even consider him right now.....hearns own lips "go build your profile and make the fight bigger"...which is exaclty what wilder is trying to do.....wilder is increasing his stance every time out....hes going to end up getting 50+ mil if he keeps winning and keeps that belt.....
yes hes trying. trying being the key word. its not working. the fury ppv didnt do well and the breazele fight did even worse. this ortiz ppv should be the nail in the coffin for his 50/50 dream but im assuming you will keep saying "the next fight will prove wilder is popular" as you have been doing for years while ignoring his numbers.
its like you are reading from an outdated script and can't see his popularity is not on the rise. popular fighters sell tickets. popular fighters sell ppvs. ward-kovalev did half the ppv buys as wilder-fury. is ward commanding 50-100 million purses? spence-garcia did better are they getting 50-100? no.
maybe joshua will become more popular and overpay him even more? thats his best bet but its a silly one that relies on joshua being nice to him when he doesnt have to and joshuas popularity exploding. two things he doesnt controlLast edited by daggum; 05-30-2019, 11:03 PM.Comment
