Thurman vs Pacquiao: Betting with your Mind and not your Heart.

Thurman is bigger, stronger, longer, more powerful, younger in his absolute physical prime and undefeated prideful champion. He's not faster than Manny but he's faster and more athletic than Danny Garcia, Shawn Porter and Errol Spence.

Pacquiao's only perceived advantage is that he's faster and possibly smarter.

Outcome: No reason for Pacquiao to win here. Even his perceived speed advantage, we don't know how much speed he had lost at 40, Thurman's speed might just outright nullify it. Pacquiao's legs is still somewhat there but clearly it's not quite as spry as before. Very understandable, because as you age, legs is the first to go while power is the last to go.

Don't be surprised if Keith cuts Manny like a butter in their fight. It's one thing to fight a Margarito in your prime it's another thing to fight someone like Keith with all the physical advantages as an old man. You might witness an Ali vs Holmes, Leonard vs Camacho, Dela hoya vs Chavez Sr. moment here.

or we could see that young, prime champion moonwalking away from a 40yr old midget once he gets hit hard enough

I agree. I want Manny to win so bad but I just can't see it at this point of his career. Let's hope Manny can get to him. I think Thurman will uses his reach and stay out of range all night.

My heart says back the younger/bigger guy but my mind keeps reminding me how long Keith has been out, how bad he looked in his return, how he's been riddled with injuries, how he lost his hunger. Anyone who thinks this is the same Thurman that fought Porter and Garcia is fooling themselves. So, the fight comes down to how Keith shows up.

Usually, it's the older guy who presents the variables. But, Pac has been very consistent. So, this time, it's all about the condition of the younger guy and it's honestly not an easy prediction like some are trying to make it out to be.

My mind says Thurman is going to win a decision and pac fanboys will cry about Thurman running. They will then waste their lives making inaccurate slow motion videos trying to convince people pac actually won. Artorias boxing has at least 3 videos lined up post July 20th just in case.

My heart kinda wants Pac to win so it further elevates Mr TBE's win over Pac. I would also enjoy making money on this bet.

Basing from recent interviews, I think Keith will try to **** with Manny in earlier rounds, like rounds 1-4. If it doesn't work, he'd try to use his length advantage, that means running if need be. He's particular with his length and Pacquiao's t-rex arms. So you can be sure that running is in his mind and will be part of his game.

Yeah, Keith is particular with Manny's t-rex arms. That means running is part of the equation, he'll make sure that Manny feels he is longer.

I suspect fight won't be close at all. Further scrutiny might not be needed.

Thurman is a softie now. Long gone is the One Time in his prime that fought DSG & Shawn Porter back to back.

Pacquiao will make Keith retire on his stool & from boxing after a bunch of vicious body shots!

Idk that I have as much confidence as you seem to. I see this as a 50/50ish fight that is completely winnable for either guy. And when I'm thinking like you're thinking with Manny being old & Thurman being the more serious guy these days I still see this as 60/40 Thurman.

Old Manny is still pretty good lets not forget. And I'm kinda feeling like Thurman is being overrated here more than people are overrrating Manny off of his legendary status oddly enough. Thurman's not really panned out in being the guy most of were thinking he was. Collazo had him hurt. Josesito had him hurt. He was neck & neck with both Danny & Porter. The length of time he was out with an injury is ***** made type sh^t to me. I just don't trust that Thurman is IN boxing quite like he was pre-winning the belt & maybe even more recently for that matter. Part of me wouldn't have been surprised if Thurman already retired & never came back.
