I don’t know how you show up looking like that TBH. Those Wembley fights are basically “AJ Party Night” so he should be looking his best. Can’t hop on that podium with his hair and beard looking like that!

He knew he wasn't going to get any credit in beating Povetkin despite the difficulty for him. He didn't even look like he won after the fight because he's feeling the pressure. Probably the biggest reason why I'm even watching this fight is to see how he looks mentally because last time out I saw some kinks and I'm not just talking about his hair.

I actually think he was under a lot of pressure too. Mentally i didn;t think he was there, everyone wanted the Wilder fight not the Povetkin fight. And the lead up to the Povetkin fight you can tell it all got to him a bit, maybe that's why he turned up not bothered with the way he looked.

I think he was thinking "can't you see that am trying to get these guys in the ring with me" but British public aren't like the american public, if Joshua was Wilder they wouldn't back him at all.

I’m no AJ fan but he has a genuine mean streak behind the corporate image he has to uphold for Sky and his sponsors. Certainly not a guy to mess with, in my opinion.

A lot of people just think people who act tough and have a certain way of speaking are the toughest guys which is not really true. AJ doesn't sound very convincing when he tries to talk tough.

As a fighter he actually has a great attitude. He shows up for work and does the best he can without needing the fanfare. I wonder if that will change once the Wilder fight is made?
