They're all facing bums or little guys with names because Spence and Thurman won't fight Bud and Thurman won't fight Spence. You have 2 PBC *****es thinking that they're Prima Donnas and they don't make close to what Canelo makes because they won't take the big fights. Spence vs Crawford won't happen anytime soon and we ALL know it has NOTHING to do with Spence or Crawford.

It's about the networks and promoters, but mainly the networks.

We ALL know that Showtime won't allow ESPN to air the fight and we ALL know ESPN won't allow Showtime to air the fight.

They'll want full ownership or at best compromise at joint ppv.

At this point then it becomes about the viability and profitability of the fight.

At this current moment the fight is not big enough for a joint ppv, both networks will make a loss if the do the joint ppv now.

This is why Spence took the Mikey Fight, to increase popularity. This is also why he wants to unify with Porter and Thurman, to increase his status and popularity, to make the Crawford fight big enough for a joint ppv. Spence knows this and has said it multiple times over.

Crawford is relentlessly calling out Spence because he needs to keep himself relevant. The same way Pacman was using Mayweather to promoie his fights per Arum's instruction.

Crawford needs to shout at the top of the mountain and present himself as the boogieman of the decision. This will create hype for his inevitable showdown with Spence and it will keep him relevant until the fight can be made. He has no good opponents at Top Rank so he needs to do this.

Spence is most likely to unify the pbc side and Crawford knows this. He wants to be undisputed and Spence wants the same, so he knows Spence will clean up and will have to see him, and vice versa Spence knows this.

neither one of these are mainstream superstars! Not even close! I know Thurman has never headlined a ppv but he's about to partner up with Manny to do his first just as Spence partnered up with Mikey! Yes Manny is the main guy but who's to say Mikey wasn't the main guy? Spence/Porter will not be on ppv while Mikey/Danny will be televised on ppv! What that should tell you is Spence is not the attraction his fans believe and Mikey was the main reason for the 300,000 buys!
