Posters don't have to be boxers. You okay, man?
Why do you always say everyone should leave if they don't like it? I'm not a guest, I live here ;0

Honestly I get on and off on here in spurts...not a bad site overall but disappointing the amount of fanboying that goes on, on what is supposed to be a real boxing website

I turned pro at 32 and I'm 62 now. Amateur...the V Corps I won at LIGHTWELTERWEIGHT. I'm 151lb walking around always, then and now. I moved to welterweight after losing my first match [USAREUR 1/4 f. Opp Morris Eason. See "The Morris Eason Story" on you tube. Boxer is 1-0 vs ex lightwt. Champ Mancini. At USAREUR however, eventual champ, ("the LATE GREAT") Michael Taylor defeated him].
After moving to W. wt. I was soon forced up to 156. And....I stayed in that weight but I was small for that weight.
My pro debut was 168lb contest. Record carries 160 but it was 168.
I fought all, 'calibrated' opp. It is a "good bad" record really. One match (DQ) JM 8 at M 3 at SM once I fought LH [Sugar Ramos in my corner if you believe that. Real fact].
When Vinny Pazienza wins WBA JM against Gilbert Dele on Oct. 1, '91 I opened the card against a former no-.1 nationally rated opp for 165.
In 1980 Founded Boxing at Central CT. State U.and they had 12 year run.
Now, I have two groups: The UWBCAFO-I (working to ECHELON THE SPORT)[Est. March/2007] & the American Boxing Federation [ABF].
SO, that's all I'll say for now.
Except: Boxing a "name game". You compete, you make a RECORD. You'll know what someone can do by looking at their record.
Very cool man! I couldn't quite follow all of that, but sounds like you had a lot of great experiences and some memorable moments.

I do wonder sometimes if real boxers/or at least real sparring guys post on here regularly

Yeah, I recall a thread made by a troll who was claiming Eddie took a dive against Wlad because the punch barely grazed him, and Chambers was defending himself in the posts, claiming he fell due to exhaustion

dude was a regular here for a while

My record is in my sig, at LHW, HW and SHW. Haven’t boxed in years though.

Losses mainly at SHW. I was young and like 205 wanting to fight with the big boys lol

Dude I always thought your sig was making fun of Wilder or something lol.

That's cool though man, not bad at all. Yeah I walk around about 200, so I can imagine getting in there with a real SHW is just a tough proposition. Legit seems like a completely different weight class. Especially if I was really fighting I know I would cut to at least CW.

I got into boxing about 7 years ago to add into my workout regimen. Usually just work the heavy bag but have done some sparring. I can't spar anymore because I'm too competitive and it gets awkward - you start out with a light spar and by the end you are trying to take the guy's head off lol. I just had to go cold turkey on sparring.
