    "The Ring" ratings are BS

Where is Cory Spinks? How can they make Baldomir the champ, and Mayweather #1 contender? (Mayweather is their P4P. Baldomir isn't on the list.) How can Pacquiao NOT be the Jr. Lightweight champ? (They have Barrera #2 and Morales #3.) Etc. etc. They are just as full of crap as the organizations they criticize....

Because they have not faught since those ratings were made. they are sticking to their guns to try and keep it real. Morlas beat pac when he moved up pac was not ranked I think. Also moralis lost to barerra at 130 and since pac did not fight barerra after those rankings at 130 then. Now there is a box off between 1 pac and morales 3 which by their rules will create a champ with barerra the #1. So why are you crying spinks sucks anyway he gets own by better fighters but pacs loss to moralis was 115-113 that hardly a dominant victory I call that close in my book.

      if you think about it

Spinks lost to Judah, who in turn lost his unified title to Baldo, and then Judah lost to Floyd's but Baldo beated him first at welter

You don't understand the sport of boxing, my friend. Read the rules that dictate RING's rankings. How can they not have the linear champion as their #1 welter? You're in need of Remedial Boxing 101.

The Champ isn't always the best in the divsion. P4P is how they're doing in boxing. The weight class rankings are how the fighter is doing in that division. Beating the Ring Champ makes you the champ. So if Dave Chappelle decides to take on O'Neil Bell, as long as they both make weight, it's a Ring Magazine championship fight.

Read there policy on their belts. Spinks has been inactive for so long and other people have fought and been ranked at junior middel. Why should he be ranled in a divison he has never fought in. An karamazin was not conisdered the man he wa the lead guy dor the ring belt. If he had fought ouma instead of spinks and wone then karmazin woulfd be the champ at 154. The point is that the ring bases champions at the top teir. 1 verse 2 or 3 welther they have a belt or not. The ring only cares about who are considered the top fights. Corey spinks beat a top LMW and won be had was not ranked in the divison so he is not the champ and since karmazen was not the champ at 154 how can spinks be the champ considering karmazen was not the champ but the #1.

The ring is good for boxing as it has a strick policy that it adheres to. Yes they may put guys out of no where to create fights but never the top 3 spots those are big time and the ring knows it. Nigel Colins will not let **** slip by or he now the ring will be done with its rankings. I have rarely found fault with the ring only with guys outs side the top three.

I must amend my statment this is correct who ever beats the champ is the champ. if you don't have a champ in that divison 1 must face 2 or 3 to become champ. once he is who ever beats him is champ and that makes sence to me.

Yea, the Ring has some rules and too bad they didn't actually make fights that way we could have some tournaments like they do in Pride MMA.

BTW: Mech, that pic of Margarito clocking Cintron is ILL! I dont blame floyd for not wanting to fight him. **** I wouldn't want to fight Margarito if it meant possibly getting KTFO! lol
