  • Vegas odds favor Wilder over Joshua for a reason

    There you have it.

Deontay Wilder is officially the betting favorite to defeat AJ should the latter stop running from the fight.

Deontay should be the favorite, he is so dangerous at this point in his career, that a 1st round KO of AJ would not surprise anyone stateside.

AJ holds his head high when retreating, can be slow and cumbersome in the ring, and his chin is weaker a single a cigarette, straight up and down, no special effects.

In other words, he is tailor made for Deontay Wilder.

Wilder has the faster hands, and feet, and concussive power, he will be able to touch AJ in ways AJ has never experienced before, and may never experience again, and Deontay does not have to land flush, time and time again, we have seen punches through the guard, or glancing blows, ser affect durable fighters, to the point, that they get knocked out later in the round.

Don't sleep on Vegas, these are the people that predicated Bran would end up on the Iron throne.

LOL, joking, but it's interesting that all these fans on this site present AJ as the superior fighter, and he is not even the current betting favorite to win the fight.

Most sensible boxing people understand, that it will be difficult for the slower, chinny, upright Anthony Joshua to avoid Wilder for 12 rounds, esp when he starts to gas towards the middle of the fight, and he will gas, he is going to be dancing, boxing, avoiding, fighting a style that will be difficult for him to sustain, AJ has stamina problems anyway, he will really struggle with the pressure of avoiding a fight ending punch for 12 rounds.

Wilder should be an even bigger favorite by the time the fight happens.

The odds make sense, as do the potential payouts, AJ is around a -225 at the moment, and whereas Deontay is in the +165 territory.

I do love a nice unbiased post that is straight down the middle and fair to all involved. Maybe tomorrow will bring one cuz this tool is no where near unbiased. I mean dont get me wrong the whole post is ****ing awful, but to start with "when Joshua stops running from the fight" at a time where Wilder is literally running from the fight and admitting it along with his manager. Sort yourself out man you in full on denial at a time when it couldnt be more obvious. Its just a fact now.

They are running. Wilders worth or what ever crap they wana call it today is dwindling, people googled him up cuz they wanted to know who this loud mouthed **** head was, the upsurge in google hits did not translate in to tickets or TV viewings, his numbers WENT DOWN.

So with that in mind he really needs to be taking this Joshua fight cuz at this rate hes not going to have ANY FANS LEFT by the time it happens. Joshua has crushed Wilders numbers, its Wilders fans that wanted to compare sales when the 2 NY fights were announced, you gone mighty quiet on that now.

The fact of the matter is, Wilder aint worth ****, hes bringing pennies to the table, hes about as clear as an B side can get. Not to panic Joshua will compensate this man and pay him a big split that he is not even close to being worthy of. 40? 50% maybe and they will even consider Showtime as the American TV.

But Finkel knows this, Wilder knows this yet they have no interest in making the fight they tell us it will come when the time is right and we need to be patient. This isnt my opinion this is what is happening, right now. Its all documented as is all Wilders poor numbers.

Take a massive pay rise, fight Joshua, lets get it done. Its Wilder holding this up.

The person in the video doesn't understand how betting works. Joshua is the favorite and should be the favorite.

              Thats a video bro.

I got several casino apps with real odds on them.

Wilder IS NOT the favorite at that casino or any other one. Joshua has been & is still the favorite at casinos that have futures betting on that fight.

Since AJ is not as athletic as fury AJ would more than likely get kod by wilder. Honestly if wilder rematches fury keep the jab pumping with alot of body shots early on to slow fury down then good night for fury. Each heavyweight is each other's kryptonite wilder beats AJ, AJ beats fury and fury beats wilder

Lol brother these odds that you posted but have since deleted even have Joshua the favorite.

The odds I've seen at Vegas sportsbooks don't usually have Joshua as THAT big a favorite actually.
