Manny is right for taking this opportunity. Very smart matchmaking. I was at Thurman's last fight and he looked vulnerable. Can Pacquiao win this contest? Probably not but it is a much safer fight than Spence or Crawford. Those two would crush Manny like a g****. If Pacquiao pulls off the upset and looks good doing it then another huge payday would be in the offering. If he gets beaten handily then he can retire after a brilliant career.

Pac is just on another level. This fight is only 50-50 because pac is old and only a part time boxer but still he's very muh capable of beating the top welterweight of today.

I'm a Hearns guy, and you could argue about his greatness, too. He had losses. I don't put a lot of stock in "this guy has losses"
Why we are all mesmerized by Pacquiao is because he is the only 8 time world champion in 8 different weight classes and the only 5 lineal champion.

So, it is a big deal for alot of us (fans). I believe we root for him because he is humble, straight forward, and has so much class.

        And he's the underdog.

Tyson was a powerful puncher who could knock out a full grown horse using one punch at his peak yet I saw him catch Danny Williams a bum with 10 straight shots and they had no effect on him. To make all this worse, there is no warning. You could be blasting everyone in sparring then age overnight on fight night. Anyone who continues fighting will get a sad farewell to the ring but that's the only thing that will send a message that time is past. Only problem is you might get serious life changing injuries on that night. The fortunate people are those who get injuries and are forced to quit, everyone else needs what happened to Benard Hopkins to finally bow out and Pacquiao will get his soon.

That all depends on what type of vitamins he's taking.

Well yeah you hang around long enough eventually one of these younger guys will come along and do to you what Terry Norris did to Ray Leonard...

Even if somehow a miracle happens and Pacquiao beats Thurman, there's no way he can last 12 rounds against Spence...

I can see Thurman winning or losing against Pacquaio. I don't see Thurman having much chance against Spence or Crawford. So that means we see eye to eye.

I am confident Pac would have beaten SRL at Ww.
