Read between the lines. Conlan is not a good pro fighter. At this stage Stevenson is good enough to beat Valdez for a title while they're talking about Conlan moving down so he can weight bully(he sucks). No point in them fighting period.

If I was Shakur I would be looking at new promoter as soon as his current contract runs out.His promoter just said he was not exciting and also talking about having him fight at 47 in future.Sharkur may be a big 26pder but he will never be a 47 without some "help".Sounds to me Arum don't think Shakur can be a money maker for him and is not looking at the long run with this kid.

I agree. I have been to a few of his fights and he just doesn't really impress. He brings the fans but not much else.

He's not horrible but I don't see greatness. I am trying to like the guy but he seems more like a C+ to B guy. Just don't know if he will ever be elite.

In fairness Loma vs Garcia is a whole other thing cuz Mikey isn't with TR. Bob is pretty notorious for sucking at working with other promoters/networks to make big fights.

Shakur & Conlan are both with TR. He's usually got a good history of matching his guys vs other guys who are with him. Thats why Oscar, Manny & Cotto got so big cuz Bob was on both sides of some of their crossroads/big fights. If Manny was in Bud's position today he'd never have gotten as big as he got when Bob could make all those good fights he made for Manny.

It sucks, but is completely expected. They're gonna start growing apart in weight, and TR wont have them fight each other anytime soon as they would be destroying a promising career.
