No one is saying Spence isn't better than Provodnikov or Lipinets or whoever. They are just being honest. Provodnikov had Algieri down very early in the fight. He just wasn't able to sustain the attack like Errol, because quite simply, he isn't nearly as good as Errol.

Errol really sleeps guys or has hard KDs. His KDs usually come from accumulation where the opponent just can't take it any longer.

Spence doesn't seem to be a puncher. Porter, Danny, Ugas would probably go the distance with him without being hurt. Spence will struggle to put away well-conditioned fighters with good chins and who are not complete punching bags.

You have to have boxed in order to understand what was going on I guess. It's not something that words can explain to the average boxing e-expert.

Mikey made zero adjustments the entire fight! He fought solely to survive. To make any adjustments and atleast TRY to win a round would have been too much risk.... I tried to explain this to your dumb ass but you wont listen. Let me tell you I have over 45 knockouts myself in street fights. I know what I am trying to teach you, listen up and learn.

Then why didn't you fight him? Hard to take this serious when you quit and refused to mix it up because you obviously feared Spence power more then lipnets and fought cowardly because of it. Fighting guttless and cautious and losing in embarrassing fashion just to say well he didn't hurt me or kill me in the ring. SMH

it seems that the standard has changed in this forum.

many posters appears to be unified in saying that spence is the man to beat in 147.

and Thurman is somewhat criticized in not chasing him.

i've been gone for a while so i need to check this dude

and wtf he aint accomplished much lol.

He probably has the potential but until he turn that into names in his boxrec link then it remains an 'if'

he only has Lamont Petterson and a Featherweight star in his resume.

Mikey never won a single round, size factor of Spence never came into play because Spence was just outboxing him from round 1 to 12.
Mikey actually kept walking forward he was just too short, Spence hit him a lot with flush shots but couldn't take him out

So he might not hit as hard as some. He delivers his punches with technic, is consistent and accurate.
