Future Lightweight King.... 5 '10 JOSE ARMANDO SANTA CRUZ

    http://www.boxrec.com/boxer_display.php?boxer_id=083400
i've seen him fight before, hes got skills. plus hes freakin 5 ten for a welterweight!!!! if he is taught how to use his jab a little better, he'll dominate the lightweight division. i seen him get ko'd like a year back, but since then hes had 3 wins. hes only 25, still learning the roots.

No you aint the only one.

I like his style alot,he looked really good against Inada, his last fight, for some interim belt or something.

I guess you could call him a flawed fighter defense wise, but thats just his style,he uses his offense to keep his opponent off of him,I seen his KO loss to Trejo too,and he definetly got stopped but theres some circumstances behind that fight like being dehydrated because of the broken AC system, and the veteran Trejo just being able to perform better under those conditions, plus while a journeyman, trejos proven hes no push over.

I think hes always improving and I hope he puts on a good performance on the Rahman-Maeskev undercard.

hes a good talent, he's damn tall for a lightweight, he knocked out Juko quicker then Corrales, PBF, and Cotto

I still remember the first time i seen cruz on telefutra. I was impressed. I thought damn, this guy reminds me of R.Ruelas or J.Gonzalez, then i thought im probably going over board in giving him credit, since he was an unknown to me but the announcers said he was a good fighter. But im still rooting for a Diaz win, he's been around for a long time, ex-olympion and has only gotten better. Should be a very good fight, that will make or break Diaz.

You do know that by 2005 Jukko was pretty much a destroyed fighter. He was done when Cotto fought him in his 10th pro fight.
