I don't see this happening, but this is the HW division. This could be another Rahman-Maskaev I where a superior fighter gets KO'd by 1 punch. Of course that is the only way Briggs can win and I don't see that happening. If Briggs doesn't KO him by round 5... its not happening.

Briggs is a very dangerous opponent for Wlad.I could see that lucky punch land.This fight is going to tell me a lot about where Wlad's at.Lets see how he can handle a power hitter that has more technigue than Sam Peter.

well,,,he's never really been stopped by lucky type punches. he was bombed out by accurate sharp shooting by sanders and ran out of gas and got tagged by purrity and brewster. unless briggs pulls a sanders he hasnt much of a chance becuz I dont think he can hang in long enough for wlad to wear down like he did against the latter 2 mentioned guys

Hehe. While Briggs is a guy who can KO anyone if they slip, he's only dangerous for a couple of rounds until he gasses out. If they make it past the 3rd round, then Briggs will get stopped. Guaranteed.

But look at it like this, it's going to be a big fight in MSG, promoted all over NY, which will give it a lot of attention, live on free HBO. And it's going to be an exciting fight, one way or the other. I see this one finishing early, and that's what people like to see with HW's. HW's who can punch and give them an exciting KO. I don't see how this fight can be bad for boxing, or the HW division, no matter who wins. If Wlad loses, I'd guess there will be a very anticipated rematch.

my personal predicition is going to be klitschko by 2nd round TKO

the first time briggs commits to a punch and doesent land it hes gonna be on his back, his chin just cant stand up to anything klitschko has.
look at how wlads jab backed up chris byrd and explain to me how shannon briggs is gonna get through it. wlad took byrd down with about 15 jabs and 5 good straight rights, nothing special, nothing he loaded up on, and byrd is a tough son of a *****, briggs is going to get nailed early and i dont see how he stands up for it

I like Briggs, I like that he took his comeback seriously. But I don't think he's good enough to beat Wlad, Manny alone beats Briggs.
