    Canelo Alvarez vs Mike McCallum

Anyone remember me? Haven't been here in years. Hope all is well.

I thought I'd propose a fantasy fight discussion. Who would win in a fight at 154lbs, with prime versions of both fighters facing off, between Canelo Alvarez and Mike "The Body Snatcher" McCallum?

This should show how old some of you are...and how young for others.

McCallum via close but clear decision. He would have out hustled Canelo in a lot of the rounds and his chin was top notch. Only one winner in this fight IMO.

McCallum would have give him all kinds of problems canelo would have had a hard time getting past the jab. good fight but the body snatcher on points (assuming fair judging takes place)

McCallum is superior in every department. He would kill Canelo.

Seems abrupt but I agree. Anyone young enough to think Canelo would beat McCallum should seriously watch an old McCallum fight James Toney. The varied attacks, old school defense and pace he had even past his prime were special.

                The "Bodysnatcher" makes him quit.

McCallum was a special fighter. Very underrated. Too smart, doesn't get flustered, has a wicked body attack and excellent stamina. He would dominate Canelo when Canrlo runs out of gas and Canelo won't be able to get back in the fight.
