Fury was landing that right on Wilder’s face at will all night and he wobbled him in the 12th rd after the knockdown.

Look at how Wilder’s face was bruised and swollen after the fight by Fury’s pillow punches. That’s why he won’t fight anyone with a bit of skill and power. He’s comfortable with highlight reels against tailor made opponents

The lineal champ rated #1 by many experts gave him a bruise. I don't think that's going to put him off fighting.

Was going to say why hasn't he just fought an eliminator or something?! Get the mandatory and then he can't be denied the fight against Wilder he needs to do that, although he has had some impressive wins recently.

Eddie Hearn has him thinking that the WBC Silver belt makes you #1 contender (it doesn’t)

He made the same claim on one of his DAZN shows months ago, two guys were fighting for the vacant silver belt (I think it was at 147?) and he said the winner would fight for the real title and the announcers had to correct him.

But they’ve been flooding the internet with lies about the silver, and how whyte is ranked #1 by the WBC (which is meaningless also, because he wasn’t ranked there when Dom became #1 contender, and even if he had been, he would still have to fight a final eliminator like every other fighter does)

Well Whyte is absolutely correct about Breazeale being an easy opponent for any of the top heavyweights. Almost nobody expected Breazeale to be a problem for Wilder. Breazeale is one of the slowest and crappiest heavyweights with somewhat of a name.

Whyte is correct because Breazeale was a bum, anybody will look amazing against that type of opponent.

I’m not convinced Whyte doesn’t pull out if a fury fight presents itself. He was looking pretty pregnant at the press conference. But if the fight goes down, yes. I’m betting on Rivas.
