Comments Thread For: Thurman: No Rust This Time, Will See My Best With Pacquiao

After having spent the past four years helping Premier Boxing Champions (PBC) introduce its brand to several outlets, Keith Thurman is finally ready for the Pay-Per-View market. The unbeaten welterweight titlist acknowledges that it took the right dance partner to make it to that stage, as is the case with his July 20 Fox Sports PPV headliner versus former eight-division titlist Manny Pacquiao.

He better hope it is the old Keith. If not He better put his marathon shoes on, because Pac is coming.

Pacquiao has always struggled with mobile targets. He is older and facing someone who can punch. This will be an interesting fight but Thurman can't afford to be reckless because Pacquiao will take him out.

Thurmans mobility is slightly better than Khans..it looks good, but if you know boxing (not you particularly), you know its off..he looks like he is on skates at time and its not boxing off the back foot or even fluid ring movement. He takes body shots as good as 19lfctitles is at life..not very. Pacs movement is linela but it is coordinated, although he doesn't jab, his footwork is so well he can pop off combos and be out. Thurman does not win this..he cashed his ass out to a legend because he could live on to fight another day losing to a legend..and he gets his purse. A good one. He loses to any other welter that takes him to the bottom of the barrel. Thurman has insecurity issues, he was to prep his mind for the 1 st loss of his career to a legend

THIRMAN should of taken another tune up to get his timing back. He does not look as sharp as he used to.

I think when need be Thurman can dig in. He has motivational issues. If you give him a bum he will struggle but give him a good opponent he will rise to the occasion. This will be a very good fight and a test for both fighters. We will get to know how much Pacquiao has left in the tank and how good the current generation is really when they face the older generation.

Pac hit AB with a body shot and he almost went down, AB is not known for having a weak body like Thurman.. Pac hit mayweather and knocked him 2 steps back, Thurman is going have to come with his A game, he talks about lighting pac up but whats going to happen when Pac catches him.
