Comments Thread For: Saunders: Beating Callum Smith Should Make Me 'No. 1' at 168

BILLY JOE SAUNDERS wants an all-British clash with Callum Smith to get the recognition he believes he deserves. The Hatfield fighter became a two-weight world champion as he comfortably out-pointed the limited Shefat Isufi to win the vacant WBO super-middleweight title on Saturday.

Smith can punch but 168 is trash, won't be surprised if this fat version of Saunders dominate 168.

BJJ would school Canelo. So until Canelo stops ducking, Callum gets it first.

He could not school Eubank or Lee that was landing Big shots in his ugly face lol

It's a easy night to canelo

This U.K bum of sh.it is not proven in a high level

            Fu.ck

His best win is Lemieux lol

Canelo only does boxing. No idea what would happen if he were to cross over into brazilian.

A Eubank rematch would go much the same way, can't see Saunders losing that one really. And whilst I don't think he can beat Canelo (he'd have to beat him on the cards, not realistic), he's the best test out there. So, it would be actually the least easy night possible for Canelo, out of the range of opponents. Unless you think there's a better opponent out there somewhere?

No, Jacobs was a better rival, a third fight with GGG would.be hardest too.

                  Andrade too because his style

Saunders is another hype job from U.K that Is not.proven in a high level

His best win is Lemieux that was K.Od by Marco Rubio

Lee... He was k.od by Chávez JR that Lost 12 rounds against Canelo

Saunders means nothing, he is not in 160 and he does not deserve a shot against Canelo

Andrade ? Yeah, he is not proven too but he has a title in 160 and is the only belt that canelo needs to clean out the division

I hear what you're saying. However, I don't think there is much appetite for a third fight with GGG atm, and Jacobs' performance was disappointing - he had his shot and stood there at the end saying, 'I'm a winner in my son's eyes' despite not coming to win. A unification with Andrade is welcome, though, sure.
