How come people are bagging on Mayweather for wanting Mosley and DLH, two HOF boxers back to back?
I thought you guys said it was about fighting the best, and thats what Floyd is trying to do.

As for Margirito, Ive layed this out many times before, but ill do it again right now.

Shortly after this, Bob Arum offered Floyd 8 million dollars to fight Tony on October 7th, knowing that Floyd had just contractually obligated to November 4th.
This happened around 10:45pm.

In short, Arum made the offer knowing that Floyd could not make the fight without violating his contract and therefore being sued for millions of dollars.
Why doesnt Tony ask to be put in the Nov 4th slot????

First off you picked the worst time to start a thread. Everyone has either left work or is wrapping up there work so that they can go home.

Now as to your topic, I think you have a valid point. I'm not sure why PBF gets so villafied. It sometimes appears that no matter who he faces he will be considered as ducking SOMEONE else.

Its ridiculous to say that he is ducking Maragarito in order to fight DLH or Winky, when DLH or Winky espeically at 154 would be a much tougher opponent than Margarito who he would fight at 147lbs.

Also at 147lbs who would you favor to win, Mosley or Margarito? At 147lbs who would you put your money on Hatton or Mosley? If one truly objectively looks at these potential fights you must acknowledge that at the minimum he would be fighting an opponent that is equal to the one he is "Ducking".

The difference is that a fight with Mosley, DLH or Winky is worth more money and a loss to anyone of the 3 is easier to work through because they are future HOF's. I'm not saying Margarito isn't a good fighter and can't beat Mayweather, all I'm saying is that looking at it as an investment he is just maximizing his risk versus's return.

Mayweather does deserve to fight them not the other way around with Mosley deserving to fight Mayweather. Mayweather has done enough to get big name fights. He beat Diego Corrales, Genaro Hernandez, Emmanuel Augustus, Jesus Chavez, Joes Luis Castillo (twice), Arturo Gatti, and Zab Judah.

The way I see it, if you're the p4p best then people are gonna hate for no reason, also if your the p4p best then people will always call you out regardless of if they have honest intent to fight you or not(Winky). It's really pissing me off that every thread ends up being a hate on floyd thread, coming from people who's opinion is based on biased or speculation, I wish that everyone would shut the **** up about it & move on, If all these PBF haters were real boxing fans they'd have something better to talk about then Floyd Mayweather Jr, he's not the only man in boxing after all.
