So much for the Augustus fight.

I would have rather Lovemore Ndou got the fight.

You know that Harris also turned down Ricardo Torres as a replacement for Mighty Mike...

        Johnston back in spotlight!
"This fight means a lot to me because it's on national television and I need to be seen again," says two-time WBC lightweight champion Stevie Johnston. Johnston (38-3-1, 17 KOs) has stepped in to replace Mike Arnoutis against Vivian Harris in the July 29 main event on HBO's Boxing After Dark from the Chumash Casino Resort in Santa Ynez, California. "It's a good fight for my career," stated Johnson. "Harris reminds me a little of James Crayton. (Johnston has defeated Crayton twice) They're about the same size, right-handed and have similar styles. To beat Harris I have to box, be smart, and stay aggressive." Johnston has won four straight fights after returning from life-threatening injuries suffered in a 2003 car accident.

I saw Johnston recently and he is still very sharp. I am not sure what his injuries were in the 2003 car accident, but he looked pretty good to me. We will have to see what he can offer vs a young guy like Harris. This is a toss up fight as far as I'm concerned, regardless of how old Stevie is.

Yea i would have like to seen Torres take Harris' head off but as expected Harris wasnt man enough. Man iff Maussa could knock him silly imagine what Torres would have done. Still a pretty interesting fight, i would have like to seen him and Arnountis but o well.
