Interesting that you think AJ v Wilder is going to be a boxing match.

it's a deal that is achievable..... If both parties stop playing blame games.

Of course they want a 2 fight deal. AJ is gunna need the 2nd fight to redeem himself and win the titles back.

AJ has very little head or upper body movement. He starts off the fight with decent upper body movement but it never lasts because as he starts to gain fatigue, the upper body movement goes right out the window. When oppoents punch, he mostly throws his guard up and tries to counter or catch and pitch. Just cant see AJ lasting 12 rounds with his style against Wilders power. His best chance is to just blitz Wilder from the bell and try to take him out first. If he tries to box and not go for the kill, it will only be a matter of time until he gets caught with something big.

CAN AJ wi this fight? Yes. Do I think he will? No.

I think you are right..... Wilder will want to force the fight to go the wilder way which he has advantage. If it gets down to boxing skills decide, he knows he will loose woefully, so it's who land first.

Every opinion about this AJ/wilder bout seems correct. That's what make this a super fight.

Absolutely. I see no indication whatsoever that Wilder has ever trained to outbox anyone. This is a wonderful style match-up. I want to see it now, but both sides are smart to delay it till 2020. It'll be the biggest event of the year and the fight itself, because of styles, will live up to the billing.

I understand why you say Wilder doesn't appear to have ever trained to outbox anyone. Still that is exactly how he won the HW title in the first fight against Bermane Stiverne..

Yeah, fair point. Both Stiverne wins were impressive in their own way. Wilder's probably not as bad a boxer as he looked against Fury for 11.5 rounds. If he approached the Fury fight looking to hit doubles and triples instead of homerun haymakers, he probably could have hurt Fury a lot sooner. He has no chance of ever out-boxing a guy as crafty as Fury, but if he relaxed a bit and just looked to land higher percentage stuff, he would be extremely difficult to beat, even for Fury and AJ.
