Why does Eddie Hearns think he can dictate to Deontay Wilder?

The chump needs to stop talking down to Wilder and his team. Any negotiations can only happen on equal terms. Just now I read an article from Eddie released this morning on Sky Sports, saying "the AJ-Wilder fight MUST happen next, no excuses." Comes across as Eddie making demands and trying to pressure Wilder and his team. I don't get what he thinks he's going to achieve from this approach? It's gonna take his humbling for this fight to happen. Needs to stop acting like him and AJ are the highrollers handing out a few crumbs to Wilder and his team of bums. God damn Eddie Hearns.

EDIT: Here is the article I was reading: https://www.skysports.com/boxing/new...ys-eddie-hearn

In fairness he does have the cashcow of the division, but yea I think he overplayed his hand & has had a hard time understanding the leverage Wilder has.

Eddie himself has evenly seemed to understand some of the misplays he's made in some of his recent interviews.

What exactly did he say that was bad? Hearn wants the fight next as do the fans. Will it happen next? Probably not, but nothing wrong with what Hearn said.

There's nothing wrong with that sentiment, it's how Hearns says it. His tone is "We want it now, so you better get your chit together!" What he should be saying is, "We really want that fight next, and will be making contact with Wilder's team on Monday morning." Etc. He tries to do too much posturing in the media and always trying to get one over on the rivals. It is counter-productive to do that when the fights are 50-50 and the other guy has options and his own legacy to worry about.

He hurt your feelings? Man up, don't be a female and force Wilder to fight Joshua.

Hearns knows with every fight Wilder gains more leverage. Why that fool tryed to get Wilder to sign a fight with AJ before Fury fight.

From the looks of it this fight will happen at the end of 2020 or beginning of 2021.
My fingers are crossed for the end of 2020! Let Joshua have Ruiz fight and another US fight. And Wilder fight Ortiz/n maybe Fury. Then it would be perfect. Anything other than that is pointless

So what Wilder wants is for Hearn and Joshua to produce the crazy big money for the fights but then Wilder wants to dictate all the terms. Its only a matter of time before they demand DAZN to come forward with more than their last offer and the fight goes on Showtime.
