If you're a fan of the sport why should you care so much about the angles and be so indifferent about whether the fight actually happens? Why are people writing long essays about excuses for Deontay Wilder to not take the fight and saying nothing in support of making the fight happen? Social media has turned everybody into a zombie. Its sad. This crap has me losing interest in boxing.

What excuses? Is AJ signed to DAZN? No. He, like Wilder does everything on a fight by fight basis. So again, why should Wilder sign a 3 fight deal when AJ isn't? The fight can be made without Wilder signing directly to DAZN. The signing of Wilder to DAZN benefits DAZN. They want more subscribers and a guy like Wilder would bring that. Hearn said the long term plan for AJ is to sign to DAZN long term. But he never said WHEN. That WHEN will happen should AJ fight and beat Wilder. At that point, AJ would have all the belts. And ANY living boxing soul that wants a piece of AJ, will HAVE TO come over to DAZN or take a walk. Wilder knows his power and knows that AJ needs him just as much as Wilder needs him. Fury is locked behind ESPN and Ol Bob is NOT going to let Fury just waltz on over to DAZN and surrender his control of the chain. And Hearn is for damn sure not letting AJ go over to ESPN to fight Fury. Even if that means pissing fans off. They will have to do a split site or there will be no fight. Its all about control.Comment

First, this kind of thing has been goingnin boxing for centuries. Nothing new under the sun. Second, as a fan i want to see this fight like anybody else. I just understand the business side of things. You really think Arum, Hearn, Haymon or any other promoter really gives a crap what fans think when it comes to making business decisions? We don't always get the fights we want but we have gotten our share. Think about it....
If you started a business and poured everything dime you had into it, would you let outsiders, or even your family members dictate your movements because of what THEY think is best? If you know that option A is going to bring you 5 million dollars into your home and bring your family and business to the next level and option 2 will bring you only 1.5 million; which are going to pick? Same thing in boxing. If a promoter knows that "this guy" is going to bring more revenue that "that guy" they are picking "this guy". Its business. Nothing personal.Comment

What excuses? The one where AJ turned down 50 million; or the video on Youtube where Daddy Hearn said they had a 7 year plan for AJ and it didnt involve fighting Wilder? And those ridiculous flat fees offered Wilder that he didnt insult Parker with? Those?Comment

Nice !! I grew up in the era of Floyd Patterson Sonny Liston Cassius Clay Joe Fraizer George Foreman and on and on !!
The Speed and Power is Awesome in Wilder! I wasn’t sure about him in his first 30 fights but the ALABAMA MULE has proved himself!
He may not be the best boxer or does it really matter !!?😂😂 He’s there to KNOCK YOU OUT !! No panty waist here !!
I am with this here Mang to KO Fury and Joshua! Da MULE will by-pass all the pretty boxing and do to them the same as he did to Breazeale!
There can be only ONEComment

Key to this are the live gate and tv ratings as rightly I believe Hearn will only pay wilders worth, I believe the networks will
Work it out but wilder has more managers/promoters than a large corporation to pay so that I fear could scupper it but the pressure to make the fight is really great now( assuming Joshua wins). My advice would be later this year so a rematch can take place around April next year ..assuming the right dates to maximise revenue can be found ..Comment
