Deontay Wilder is the hardest puncher in the history of the sport.

I’ll give you an example. Even back in the 80’s, state tournaments lasted maybe 6 days sometimes. These days they’re done over the weekend. Meaning you have tops 6 guys in each weight class.
Back then they’d fight sometimes 2 fights in a day. A lot more competition back then.Comment

I argue Tyson’s heart just like you do. But when I say talent, I’m talking about competition. More and more big guys are taking the easier roads to different sports like football and basketball these days.

I have to agree. He has put to sleep, concussed, dropped, and given brain damage to fighters with just one shot. He has the hardest single punch in the history of the sport.Comment

It was horrid .
WBA was a circus. Good Lord, talk about a carousel of men with ******* winning the WBA belt.
Tate, Weaver ( he was the exception ), Dokes, Coetzee, Page, Tubbs and company.
When Tubbs and Page duked it out, we referred to it as the battle of the man-*******.
I think we have more talent now than in the 80's.
Maybe not like the 90's.Comment

And the man Don King did not want to get in the ring with Mike was Tim Witherspoon. And DK made sure he never had the opportunity.
Lord, they were a bunch of coke heads. Dokes, Page, Thomas, Berbick, Williams and company.Comment

So, he told Timmy if he beat Bonecrusher Smith in NY, his drug test would turn positive and he wouldn't even get paid for the fight.
Timmy sued DK later and DK settled out of court.
Timmy took a dive like a 1950's palooka against Smith in their rematch.
Lord, he nearly shutout Smith in their first meeting.
Smith looked like a deer on a headlight in his fight against Tyson. Absolutely the most boring Tyson fight ever.Comment
