    Please.
Archie Moore was dropped several times by Durelle .
Durelle was not even 175 lbs.
Wilder would have sent Moore in a coma.

Jersey Joe was KO'd by an ancient Joe Louis.

Take the blinders off and quit digging names from the black and white tv days.

    Billy Conn? Lord.

Is there a machine that measures punching power? Like the "hit the bell" or "strength-o-meter" thing at carnivals?

It would be interesting to have a heavy bag that can gauge the raw crash-power of a fist hitting it, and translate it into a number. Maybe Wilder is the strongest puncher that way. Maybe Foreman. Maybe Vlad or who knows, Butterbean with all that weight behind a punch.

Then you have power vs quickness, which would be Tyson. While Foreman practically was slow-bowling when he knocked out Moorer...CLUNK...Tyson was one of those "it's the punch you don't see that gets you" guys.

Foreman, Tyson...they still needed some timing and some aim, otherwise a fight goes the distance. Granted, only once has Wilder gone the distance, so it's hard to argue his creds for most powerful puncher.

You children have absolutely zero idea what you're talking about. It's almost offensive to the sport talking like you guys.

          You are a clueless hater.
I've been watching boxing when your mama was breastfeeding you.

No 175 pounder ever would have slipped Wilder's punches. Grow a brain.
Billy Conn could not break an egg with his fists.
He had 15 KO's during the days of 6 oz Ben Lee gloves and 16-18 foot rings.

YOU ARE a clueless clown who pretends he knows boxing.

I think Shavers, Lennox Lewis and Wilder's right cross might battle it out as the hardest punch in boxing ever .

Foreman's uppercut was pretty nasty too.

As much as power is a factor, shot placement is a big factor too.

Tyson's gracing left hook on the forehead freaking made people dance like fools.

My first instinct was to dismiss idea. But I now think you cant dismiss totally out of sight.
Kind of hard to gauge as he has not fought any proven iron chinned fighters like Oliver mcall, Ray mercer, vital klitcho, ali, foreman type guys.
I mean Ali had one tough chin and he said Ernie shavers was hardest hitter.
Who today has an iron chin who's taken wilder punch to tell us?

I believe they've done that. Don't quote me on this but I'm pretty sure Marciano was the heaviest puncher of all time.

People have witnessed Wider's power and are still on denial.

Fury and AJ have better head movement than most HWs. But everybody already has seen that the minute he connects it is trouble. His whole tactic is to jab and and try to connect that right during the whole fight. That power is still present even in the championship rounds in a fight.

What he lacks in skills he makes up with that equalizer.
