How come we havent heard anything from Arum trying to change the fight date? This is all a bunch of crap.
Arum wants the fight to be on October 7th but no way Floyd fights then. You could tell he was slightly depressed from losing the Oscar fight so he needed a little more time and the 2nd part is that his 2nd trainer's suspension is lifted on October 8th.
That means if he fought Margarito then he wouldnt have either of his top 2 trainers and would probally have to take calls from his cut man. Some might say that Floyd does what he wants in the ring at this stage and doesnt really need a trainer but thats garbage.
Roger has been perfect for him and he always knows what he's talking about. Have you guys ever payed attention to what Roger says in the corner? He's always on point and Floyd tries to do whatever he says. I remember in the Corley fight he kept on yelling at Floyd to go to the body but Floyd would always come back to the corner and say that Chop is protecting the body so that wont work. Then in like the 8th round they were going toe to toe and you could clearly hear Roger shout from the corner, "go to the body". Floyd threw a right hook to the body immediatly and is stopped Chop in his tracks. I think it even surprised Floyd because he was leaning on Chop but didnt immediatly follow up. After the body blow Roger shouted "there you go". Floyd then threw 2 more body blows that folded Chop and then he went up stairs with the uppercut that sent Chop running to the ropes and soon got dropped.
He wont have Roger for his next fight or 2 but the bald head guy also tells him things and he wont have him for October 7th. What was the reason Arum gave again that he couldnt move the EM-Pac fight? Because of some holiday or something? Who the **** cares. The fight will sell anyway and no hard core boxing fan wants to see that fight more then Floyd-Margarito. He shouldve definatly moved that **** and told Floyd that he would still give him 8mil to fight on November 4th. I bet Floyd would take it. He wants the Shane fight 1st but it probally wont happened.
Since Arum has already made the date then he should offer Floyd a Margarito fight in December. Do something. There's no way that Floyd will fight in early October, even if it's for Shane or Hatton and Arum knows that
