Rd 1 to Burnett, coming out aggressive landing big shots already, but he took a few as well

2nd to Gomera. Burnett in total control when he wants it, but spends most of the rd sitting there letting Gomera hit him just to prove the guy doesn't have the power to hurt him. That's fine and all but it doesn't win the round

4-1 Burnett, hitting Gomera with the kitchen sink now but doesn't carry the power to hurt him

Ref stops the fight as Gomera turns his back after a body shot trying to claim it was low, ref wasn't buying. TKO win for Burnett

If Burnett goes back to 118 I'd like to see him fight Moloney on the road to Tete. If he stays at 122 maybe go after Rigoldi for the European title next

The former bantamweight titlist returned to the squared circle and to the win column, stopping Philippines' Jelbirt Gomera in six rounds Friday evening at Ulster Hall in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
