The offers are going up but that is because they're overpaying. Tell me, do you think Wilder is actually worth 50/50?
The fact that Joshua's side is being flexible shows that they're making every effort to fight, while Wilder is just full of s**t. Pricing himself outComment

you are missing the point and you are talking about different weight classes and different individuals.
In HW, some fighters over value themselves. For example, do you think ortiz/wilder would have happened if Ortiz says wilder should give him 2mil or no fight? Or Fury says 50/50 or no fight coming off a drug vacation?
It's no fault of AJ that Ortiz over valued himself above 7mil. Wilders team can and will never make him such offer but he reject going in their with AJ.
It is what it is.
The difference is other weight classes dnt gamble with payday offers when pacman calls. They grab it while it last.Comment

What Ortiz? You mean that old coward? He isn’t top 8, who hasn’t Ortiz beaten??? Ortiz is a cheat and a coward...he ran like a little beech from the landlord!Comment

The weight class makes no difference! We're talking "Star Power!" For you to become a "Star" you need opponents who can make you a "Star!" What's really bothering Joshua is the fact, FOR WHATEVER REASONS, he is not where he wants to be, because he has not faced Wilder, Fury, and Ortiz! Canelo has faced them all! Pacquiao has faced them all! They have both faced higher quality opponents in multiple weight classes! We know Joshua can't fight in multiple weight classes, but casuals (the people paying) expect great fights! Right now, Joshua is not in any of them, and Wilder has been in all of them! Joshua's last "BIG ONE" was Wlad! Wilder just faced Ortiz and Fury, and there's a good possibility, he'll be ordered to fight Whyte, who also turned down Joshua! Joshua is stuck between a rock and a hard place!
He blatantly refused to step up to fight AJ for his career ever payday till he retires. That's no fault of AJ. No challenger with a belt, not even a silver belt will reject such massive offer in lower weight classes.
You make reference to pacman rejecting 40mil. Of course he is right to reject it because at that time he was a big ppv star, same as Floyd with his own fans. That's the difference.
Neither wilder nor Ortiz is a ppv star. In fact fury gave him his only ppv fighter after 39 fights.
AJ's quest for the green belt is the reason wilder's stock went up.
Ortiz has nothing, why offer him 7mil? Eddie is spoiling these little HW's by offering them too much money.Comment
