Rodriguez's originally slated opponent was the 6'9, 300 lbs. undefeated Rick Dyer who is 10-0, 10 KOs, 7 of those stoppages in the first round.

It was reportedly Dyer who pulled out a few days before the scheduled meeting.

From what I gather Rodriguez has serious power but he has serious stamina issues and fights flat footed. I have seen Rodriguez fight twice on small market tv and the fights ended so fast it was hard to tell.
