Chisora/Szpilka seems to be confirmed, though Dereck doesn't seem exactly thrilled with that fight. Thank God the "reformed and calm" Chisora is gone and the real Del Boy is back!! Best character in the game!

AJ/Ruiz was not the only big HW upset of the weekend. Undefeated Nigerian Ehwarieme stopped in a round by tough journeyman Rodney Hernandez

Was just coming back to post it mate...and you're not going to like it.

Boban came through successfully and KO'd the Cro Beast in 2 rounds, but sadly, announced his retirement after the fight. Boban finishes with a career record of 25-1, with his sole defeat coming at the hands of the immortal Brixton Bomber, Danny Williams. Best of luck in retirement champ #WarBoban4Ever

Parting words from Boban, courtesy of Google Translate

Uh, this was the end of a successful career. I won the WBC belt designed for the champion of the renowned countries, and I go to retirement with a score of 26 wins and a single defeat. The only disadvantage I experienced was Denius Vilijamsa, who remained cognizant of someone who stole Mother of the Tajson from the throne and practically ended his career, and their duel was proclaimed the best of all time. In addition, I had 14 amateur wins on the same number of matches, and I forgave myself in front of my audience in Belgrade against the excellent Croat, who now has 28 victories and five defeats. I am grateful to all - the family who has been with me all these years and supported, friends, trainers, supporters ... - Boban Filipovic told Blicsport.

"I've been thinking for two days what I'll do after retiring from the ring. I miss the permanent adrenaline that is present before the fight itself and during the training, but I'm sure I will stay in boxing. I'm a real sports center and I'm training a kid. I'm a bit busy too now, I'm in no obligation, because I'm in the nature too hyperactive. I slowly go into managerial jobs, while I'm going to be able to train from pleasure. I want them to get them out of the street and encourage them to deal with the sport. I try to give the primer as a whole and to help the little ones - added a champion champion in the WBC category, which is the highest quality. I'm happy to have done that match against Goleš, I knew what his weakness was and I used it. I struck him in the plexus, because I knew he was the weakest, and in the end I was just wrong to break his rib."

            Farewell champ!

****ing LOL that translation is amazing

i need to watch that boban v brixton bomber fight again, that was comedy gold it was so bizzarre, i remember Danny gets hurt & looks to be on the verge of being stopped & then 10 seconds later Bobo's team pulls him out.

Almost as funny as 'the boogeyman' flapping all over the place while the canadian commentators are screaming in French over the mics, which might possibily be the funniest thing i have ever seen.

I'm not even kidding when I say that he best boxing weekend of the year may be in 2 weeks. Warrington/Galahad in Leeds, Tabiti/KO Doctor and Briedis/Glowacki in Latvia, Fury/Schwarz and Barrera/Hart in Vegas, the heaviest man in boxing Conrad Lam back fighting in Auckland, Big Country/Grizzly 2 in Quebec with The Boogeyman on the undercard and have you seen that ****ing Sunday card in Russia!!!!!

                Kurdyashov/Makabu
                Egorov/Mike Perez
                Papin and Tischenko back
                Romanov/Bracamonte

If Comrade Buferov is there I might just ****ing die of excitement!

wasnt interested in the first few fights you mentioned, specially after Breidis looked like complete turd, tabiti throws 3 punches a round and always lays eggs, warrington/fury punch like girls. But you got my attention with the grizzy rematch! Boogeyman on the undercard too!

but good GOD i cant ****ing wait for that ruskie card, card of the year so far and its not even close.

good to see Lam is capitilising on the new fat craze too, hes gone from 'shed 10' to the infamous 'netball centre' to now headling in Auckland stadium!

Tommy Morrison's less heralded son, James Kenzie Morrison scored a 1st rd KO of 13-2 Leroy Childs last Saturday in Kansas City to improve to 15-0-2.
